11 ways to lose your gut

11 ways to lose your gut

1) Go for a walk more often. One way to really lose control is to be more active. Even small things like going for a walk burn pure fat. If you’re really out of shape, it would be a bad idea to go for a walk a couple of times a day.

2) Eat unprocessed foods. Eating more foods like lean meats, vegetables, fruits, and nuts are great for you and teach your body to burn more fat. Avoid junk food most of the time and replace it with this type of food.

3) You can cheat on your diet from time to time. You can have a cheat meal once every 2 days. Just make sure you eat healthy food 90% of the time so you can afford junk food like pizza, ice cream, and chocolate chip cookies.

4) Start exercising. Start doing basic exercises like bodyweight squats, planks, and pushups. Exercises like these strengthen your core and work more than one muscle group, so you can expect to burn more fat.

5) Forget doing sit-ups. Basic crunches on the floor are not effective. All it does is strain your back and neck, especially if you do more than 50 at a time. Instead, do exercises that actually target your abs and burn more belly fat.

6) Do reverse crunches. These are the opposite of regular sit-ups. They really hit your abs without the strain on your neck. Do them lying on the floor with your legs in the air and your knees bent. Bring your knees back so they almost touch your chest, then return to the starting position.

7) Lose the gut by drinking water. That’s right, water helps wash out the intestine. For every cup you drink, you burn about 8 calories from pure fat. It keeps you hydrated and energized. Drink at least 6 glasses a day.

8) Get more fiber in your diet. Foods like fruits, vegetables, beans, oatmeal, and nuts are loaded with fiber. It’s great for your digestive system and keeps you full for longer.

9) Drink green tea. It is very powerful to lose abdominal fat. Packed with disease-fighting antioxidants, green tea is known as the best natural fat burner and is probably the cheapest.

10) Eat more protein. About 30% of calories from protein are burned during digestion. Not bad compared to calories burned from carbs, which is only about 8%.

11) Limit your carbohydrates. Foods like bread, rice, oatmeal, and potatoes should be eaten only in the early morning or after exercising. Otherwise, they will most likely turn to fat from not burning right away.
