Clinton Mata, Odilon Kossounou, Youssouph Badji and Nabil Dirar will remain in Bruges during the international break.

LClub Brugge has decided to keep four of its internationals in Belgium, due to the risk of coronavirus infection, according to Het Laatste Nieuws. Strongly affected in recent weeks, the championship leader fears to see himself again deprived of certain players, and therefore refused to release Clinton Mata (Angola), Odilon Kossounou (Ivory Coast), Youssouph Badji (Senegal) and Nabil Dirar (Morocco).

“I discussed it with my players and their national coaches. FIFA introduced this rule and we want to use it. It’s too risky, ”explained Philippe Clement about his African quartet.
