Content is king So what is queen?

Content is king So what is queen?

A saying that is often used in internet marketing is “content is king”, referring to what you have on your web pages being the determinant of their success or failure. Great content has the ability to catapult your business’s traffic through the roof and turn the owner into the next big “million dollar” internet sensation. So content is king, so who or what are the queens?

I’m sure you’ve probably heard the saying behind every rich or powerful man is a good woman. Well, it’s the same with great content behind it, there has to be good search engine optimization and link building or no one will find your content. Optimizing the on-page factors of your web content and creating the correct internal and external linking structures is almost certainly the second most important thing to creating great content.

So I guess you’re probably also thinking “what makes great content?” Well, listen to some of our thoughts on how crazy makes good content.

1. Timely “just in time” information that makes the user think it came at the perfect time for me, this is just what I was looking for.

2. Answers to the top 10-15 questions your customers and clients regularly ask you. Think about the kinds of questions people ask all the time before they buy, or objections that keep them from buying, and then turn this into content on your site. If you do some basic keyword research on what people are searching for to buy your product and service and optimize your pages for those keywords with this great content.

3. Buzz-worthy content: There is nothing more effective than being the first to report on exciting news or a newsworthy development. This is how big media companies have become billion dollar companies, find something exciting to report, then create a blog and tell people.

4. Personal and emotional content: Most websites and business sites display a Berlin Wall-like appearance, there is no emotion or attempt to engage with the reader at all. To create emotional appeal by using phrases like “I was once like you” or “If you’re like me, you…” to attract the person as an individual.

5. Something you just have to tell everyone. I do remember marketing as part of my career and they used to say that people talk more about a bad customer experience than a good one. Sometimes it’s effective to use a negative experience someone had before they came to you and how you helped change it. Or you can find something so funny or interesting that everyone has to immediately go tell all their friends and family about it.

6. Use the power of scarcity and hope to attract your customer. These are probably two of the most effective sales tools and companies use them over and over again because they work. I hope you will use this formula in your own web business to create great content. We have had great success creating engaging content for our websites and our clients’ websites. One of the important things that we realized early on is that it is important to outsource content as writing articles on your website and promoting your business week after week becomes extremely tiring.

We have been able to find really premium quality content writers for around $10-$15 dollars per 500 word article and sometimes as little as $5 per article. Although there are a large number of content writers on the internet, very few of them create great content in the style mentioned above. I think it’s important that you can create this great content, as I know you’ve heard it before “Content is King”.

So here are some things you need to know to spot great content writing talent:

– Where to look: forums and outsourcing sites
– You need to see some good examples of his work.
– You need to give them a test of 5 or 10 items to try them out, worst case you’ll just have to rewrite them a bit.
– Choose writers who still work with your businesses so that you constantly deliver new and fresh content to your users.
