Here is the nicest city in France

In France, it is better to live in a medium-sized city than in a large metropolis. This is the main lesson that can be drawn from the ranking published by Sunday Newspaper in its latest edition, ranking “established on the basis of objective data on the quality of life and services”. The following are therefore analyzed: the quality of life, the feeling of safety, the efficiency of transport, the quality of shops, hospitals, schools, etc.

And on this level, the most pleasant city (of more than 2,000 inhabitants) in France would be Annecy, in Haute-Savoie. It is ahead of Bayonne, La Rochelle, Angers and Le Mans. Further in the rankings, Nice (6th) and Bordeaux (8th) are the only major cities to perform well, far ahead of the other major cities such as Lyon (56th), Paris (58th), Marseille (85th) and Lille (86th).
