The palette ranges from bars to yoghurt to shots – and with that Sebastian Rauer and his father Fritz convinced investors at the Puls4 start-up show “2 Minuten, 2 Mio.” on Tuesday evening. The two Styrian founders have created a product world based on sprouts that are organically and sustainably grown in Styria. The approach of “Rauers Spössling”, as the company founded last year is called: “Natural, local products instead of chemical food supplements or vitamin preparations.” The sprout products are intended to serve as a natural source of protein and vitamins for everyday life. “The organic sprouts are grown, harvested and carefully processed by ourselves,” emphasize the entrepreneurs impressed by the sprout products: Four of the five investors have submitted an offer. Ultimately, Dagmar Grossmann (CEO of Grossmann Jet Service) and Katharina Schneider (CEO of MediaShop) were awarded the contract by the Styrian start-up for an investment of 40,000 euros at five percent and 100,000 euros for 20 percent of the company shares.
