The Gardens of the Brooks, a setting where biodiversity is recreated
NOTNestled in the heart of the rue des Ruisseaux aux Bosquailles, in the town of Eghezée, it is a real ode to biodiversity that is revealed. Her name ? Les Jardins des Ruisseaux, a 40-acre meadow strewn across the back of the Pironet family’s house. Gauthier, Delphine and their children acquired it a year ago now. With a desire: to recreate a setting where the nature of our regions takes back its rights.
“We have been here for seven years and have been eyeing the agricultural land behind our garden for a while. We have always been passionate about nature. We dreamed of being able to get busy transforming this meadow into a space of biodiversity. It’s great to see a biotope gradually recreated, ”says Gauthier Pironet.
