Your Scooter runs like shit, has no power and is very slow, you know it and I know it, so let’s fix it!

The core business of our scooter business is High Performance Repairs and Upgrades (HPU). Everyone wants a scooter with a zip, style, and something to get up and going. We all hate how slow our scooters go and wish there was a solution. The good news is … there is.

If you have a Chinese scooter, I am a fan. They make a great engine and a great transmission. The downside is that many of the other components are of poor quality and cause most of the problems. So at our store, we just replace the cheap parts with American parts, and poof, we have a premium speed scooter (fast enough for speeding tickets, just don’t ask). I own the fastest street scooter in my city, and here is the step by step of how you can have the fastest scooter in your city. These are the parts we replace when people bring their scooter to our store and request a high performance upgrade:

o Air intake system – We completely removed the entire air intake system and simply replaced it with a UNI Racing air filter. We are not trying to turn our scooters into racing bikes, we are just giving them the air they want to race their best.

o Spark Plug – We replaced that cheap 49 cent Chinese plug with a high performance NKG plug. Oh yeah; now we are talking about some power. You will get more power out of the line.

o CDI – The CDI in our Scooters is the brain, it also has the Governor in it. We replaced the CDI (yes, I realize yours is working fine) with a no-limit CDI. This will get you 3 to 10 MPH faster.

o Motor oil: we get rid of the oil that came with the Scooter from China. It is not good quality oil. We swapped that out immediately with a higher grade American oil.

o Transmission Oil – These scooters use ‘gear oil’, not transmission oil, but it’s the same story. We replaced this oil so now our machine is filled with quality American made products.

o Fuel lines: these are one of the key ingredients. The fuel lines that come in these scooters are of poor quality. They collapse very easily when stressed. We replaced all fuel lines with a 3/16 ID (inside diameter) American made hose. Even the Hulk can’t collapse these hoses.

o Air lines: we use the same type of hose to replace all the air lines to / from the carburetor and the engine. These can also crash and ruin your top speed.
