We love to share time across the country and think it’s a great way to travel. We own 13 timeshare weeks and by using the different systems we can travel 18-20 weeks a year.

First, the accommodations are great. We quickly get tired of the small four walled rooms found in most hotels or motels. Additionally, we found that room costs were often not in our vacation budget. On the other hand, we stayed in a one- or two-bedroom timeshare with a full kitchen, living room, and usually an in-room Jacuzzi and a washer and dryer. We often have enough space to include family and friends. Because we buy our timeshare resale and can get 18-20 weeks of use, our costs per day are lower than if we stay in a motel.

The resorts we’ve stayed at have been wonderful, with lots of amenities and usually beautiful grounds. There are swimming pools, hot tubs, playgrounds, basketball courts, tennis courts, miniature golf, etc. Most of the time they have activities for children and adults that make your stay more enjoyable. There are games and crafts for the kids, welcome breakfast, wine and cheese party, karaoke night, etc. for adults.

You can also network with other travelers to share ideas and stories. You have the opportunity to meet these people at resort activities and on resort grounds. You share travel tips, timeshare ideas, good restaurants in the area, etc.
