walking in the supernatural

walking in the supernatural

Having the power of God must be a terrible longing in the hearts of true believers. This desire will guide anyone to walk in the supernatural through conscious surrender to God’s call. Desiring this experience is one thing and being willing to pay the price that will put you in this position is another. This article seeks to address the keys that will make a profound difference.

1. Separation

Throughout the Bible and human history, there are clear examples that those who experienced walking in the supernatural separated themselves for a divine purpose. Moses was called to the mountain to be with God for forty days and forty nights. Concerning Enoch it is written: “And Enoch walked with God, and he perished, for God took him” (Genesis 5:24, KJV). The prophet Samson was set apart for the Lord as a Nazirite. See Judges 13:5. Elijah, Elisha, the apostle Paul, and Peter, to name a few, had to set themselves apart for God’s divine call.

Most people want to walk in the supernatural but are not ready to do the heavy lifting of setting themselves apart for God. This scripture sheds more light on this topic: “No one who fights embroils himself in the affairs of this life to please him who has chosen him as a soldier” (2 Timothy 2:4, KJV). I can tell you it’s a lonely place to be if you really want to walk in the supernatural, but the experience is life transforming.

two. Preparation

This implies preparing our mind, our heart and our body for the divine encounter. Walking in the supernatural is not child’s play. You are seeking to carry the Lord’s signature with you in your interactions and activities, be prepared for opposing forces.

The apostle Paul said that he was not disobedient to the heavenly vision. He set out and went into solitude with God in the Arabian desert to prepare himself. When you read how the power of the Lord Jesus flowed through him, you can feel, oh yes! I want that. Okay, are you preparing for the chases and all?

3. spiritual hunger

Jesus said, “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled” (Matthew 5:5, NIV). This hunger will lead to a life of prayer and fasting. These are the constants in walking in the supernatural. The hundred and twenty longed to be clothed with the power of the Holy Spirit, so they stayed about ten days in the upper room.

How far has your spiritual hunger for the supernatural taken you? Are you hungry enough to lock yourself away and spend time with the Lord on a regular basis? Look around you, there aren’t many who are actually walking in the supernatural. The Lord has not changed, the problem is in us.

Four. Understanding the difference between the natural life and its futility and the spiritual life with the mysteries.

About ten days in the upper room, the supernatural is born that changed our world forever. The participants were never the same. The immediate communities were never the same. The world they came to was never the same because it was touched by the fire of the Lord.

You can only move and walk in the supernatural when there is a willingness to go forward against all of life’s distractions. The inability at times to disconnect from the carnal realm poses a major problem for walking in the supernatural.

This can be achieved if you can connect to the supernatural by faith with your spirit fully surrendered to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. It is a worthy undertaking filled with an amazing life of discovery.
