Everyone knows that when a girl is jealous of a guy she is dating, she is much more attracted and committed to him. Jealousy can be over the top and cause problems, but if used sparingly, if you make a girl jealous enough, she will want to be your girlfriend. Even if she’s dating multiple guys who are prettier, funnier, and sweeter than you are, she’s going to go with the guy who makes her sigh for him the most. A lot of guys get caught when they try to make a woman jealous, but if you use these tricks over the phone, she will never suspect what you are doing.

The thing to keep in mind here is that these tricks are meant to show the woman that you have other women in your life, NOT that you are sleeping with them or chasing them. If you try to imply that these women are your playmates, you risk coming across as smug. Instead, keep the ambiguity and let your girl’s imagination run wild.

For starters, here are three ways to make a woman jealous when she’s on the phone with you:

1) Call waiting:

Call waiting is designed to allow you to take two calls at the same time and switch between them. When talking to a girl you like, say you have another call, but just hit the mute button instead of clicking. After a few seconds, come back and say “Sorry. Charlene always calls at the oddest times to get food. I mean, it’s 10:30!”

Another thing you can do is press the mute button, then go back and say “Hi Charlene” in which your girl will say “Umm, it’s still Tina”. You then apologize and then click “for real” to let go of the imaginary Charlene and then come back. She can reconstruct that you have girls calling you.

2) Call with girls in the background

This trick is a bit more sincere, but call the girl you’re interested in while you’re socially with other women. If your girl can hear the other female voices in the background, she will know that you have other women in your life and that you may be able to date some of them if you wanted to.

3) Text the wrong girl “by mistake”.

When names are similar on someone’s phone, sometimes one can accidentally text the wrong person. Use this to your advantage. If you have a girl named Amy on your phone, text her: “Annie, your dough is amazing, thank you so much for last night!” Then quickly text again with “Wow, wrong person, ignore that.” Amy now has to wonder who this Annie is and why is she making you dough.
