In this double tourist year devoted to nature in Wallonia, a few corners of the south of the country have retained a country aspect conducive to beautiful walks (well, the weather is not currently helping but spring will soon be here). Wedged between Péruwelz and Tournai on the one hand, France on the other, the three municipalities of Rumes, Brunehaut and Anvaing form the western part of the Plaines de l’Escaut natural park (whose house / museum is located for its part in Péruwelz).
