Bike trailers to share
LThe principle is simple: a wooden board measuring 1.2 meters by 60 cm, a steel frame, two wheels and a fastening system to be attached to the rear wheel of the bicycle using a pin. The whole, handcrafted – except for the part of the fixing system. Enough to build an easily usable bicycle trailer, a model that the very young ASBL Remorquable has been offering on loan to individuals, associations and small businesses for two years.
“It was during a great collective bicycle trip that I was able to see the operation of these trailers more closely,” explains Texas, a young thirty-something at the initiative of the ASBL Remorquable. “Our trailers carried all of the common equipment: large pots and utensils, a wood stove for cooking, bicycle repair equipment and a first aid kit. They could be removed and replaced in no time, life changing flexibility! “
