Do you remember Julia Child? She’s not with us at the moment, but just like her odd, drawn accent, her French cooking was memorable. She studied at the French culinary arts institution, Le Cordon Bleu, which means blue ribbon, located in Paris. Over time, she established her own French culinary institution at her residence: the renowned L’Ecole des Trois Gourmandes, which means School of the Three Gourmands.

It is unfortunate that Julia Child is not with us to educate us in her profession, but there are several French cooking institutions to choose from on both sides of the Atlantic. In case Paris is too expensive for you, you can opt for any of the countless French cuisine institutions in North America. You can even choose a school within New York City!

Most schools in New York, like the well-known French Culinary Institute, host open houses in the fall. All French culinary institutions persuade students interested in joining to peruse their suite of courses and the specializations on offer. From soups to sauces, pastries and bread to cakes, to the enjoyment of wine, there is an institution of French cuisine within New York City that caters to all tastes.

Are you interested in betting? In that case, Nevada, which has a plethora of casinos, has a French cuisine institution in Las Vegas. It is the renowned Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts, created in 2003. The institution offers combined modules of contemporary American cuisine and traditional French cooking styles.

Students interested in preparing gastronomic delights will discover French cuisine institutions across Canada. The famous Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts, located on the west coast, has diploma programs.

Modules offered by French cooking institutions may cover several semesters or short weekly sessions. Modeled after the French culinary institution in Provence, Italy, it recreates the mood and setting of ancient Italy in a picturesque farmhouse, where students soak up the atmosphere for five days while taking their lessons.

In fact, many travel agencies highlight the modules of the institution of French cuisine in their tour programs. For example, Gutsy Women Travel offers an arrangement where you spend an afternoon being trained in French cuisine by chefs in the upscale Quebec City area.

However, if you are not constrained by money when selecting French culinary institutions, then you can go all the way and spend time in the 17th century manor house. Located in the province of Burgundy, south of Paris, Cheteau du Fe is the residence of Anne Willan, writer and cook par excellence. This French culinary institution encompasses everything from wine tasting, vineyard sightseeing, and fresh food marketing. In addition, students are trained to prepare classic French recipes, such as the chocolate soufflé roulade.

This then is a French culinary arts institution that students find irresistible.
