How to deal with irritating spirits

Isaiah 61: 3 reads to comfort those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty instead of ashes, oil of joy for mourning, mantle of praise for the spirit of lowliness, which will be called trees of righteousness; the planting of the Lord so that He may be glorified. Jesus has given us a weapon to fight against irritating spirits and it is called a mantle of praise. We must use this weapon to defeat the spirits that try to irritate our minds. However, many people do not want to call it irritating spirits, they would prefer, for example, to call it depression, anxiety or fear, but these are irritating spirits that go by the name of depression, anxiety or fear. So we have to get to the roof of the problem to be released and praise the Lord is our answer.

The devil cannot stay when we praise the Lord because God dwells in the praises of his people and where he is, the devil cannot stay; has to go. Do not be carried away by them and entertain them, instead, put on the mantle of praise and rise high above all principalities and powers.

I remember telling a person years ago that he had been casting out demons, she got very scared and said; don’t send them to her. Of course he wouldn’t have, but because of his fear, that was the first thing that came out of his mouth. I also had another encounter some years ago with another lady. She told me about a problem her husband was having and I told him that he was an unclean spirit; that did not go very well, she was in denial and was offended. I have had a personal experience with irritating spirits; They were in my house, my room to be exact, and when I went to bed, they called my name and laughed. I was new to the Lord and didn’t know much about praising the Lord for the spirit of sadness, but I knew Jesus, called on His name and they left. I never had that problem again.

The mantle of praise combats the forces of darkness such as anxiety, fear, depression, lust of all kinds, discouragement, hopelessness and pain; All of these are spirits of heaviness that afflict our minds. So instead of entertaining them; put in your mouth the great praise of God. The Bible says, resist the devil and he will flee from you, so when we praise the Lord, we are resisting the forces of darkness and they would have to go.

The Bible also says that Satan walks like a roaring lion, but that is all he can do. He cannot bite us because Jesus has already defeated him for our sake, but he would try to make us think that there is something in him but it is not.

Hardly anyone would say that an unclean spirit is attacking them simply because of the nature of the word or because they don’t know it is Satan, they would give it a name like fear or depression, but we need to know who is behind those. irritating words and spirits trying to steal our joy and peace, but God has given us his weapon to defeat them; the mantle of praise.

Irritant spirits are not very powerful; most of the time they just irritate like a mosquito, but if left unchecked they can cause major problems later on. For example, a person may be experiencing a little depression from time to time, but if it is not controlled by not applying the praise garment on it, then obviously they could find themselves unable to get out of bed due to depression.

When we begin to feel heaviness of heart, we should think of the goodness of God and begin to praise him; after a while that feeling of heaviness will vanish because the praise would have entered our heart and mind and where the praise is; the authority will be there.
