Two large outdoor games for a large number of children

As part of their growth and development, children must participate in games and activities. This improves their mental, emotional, physical and social well-being since many of these games include activities that require the use of parts of the body, the intellectual and also sharing between group members and friends. Outdoor games and activities are mainly enjoyed by children of different ages.

The beanbag is a type of game in which a large number of children participate. It is played on an open field that will provide space for the children to run around. The course is marked with crosses according to the number of children involved and it appears that the first position and the second position are diagonal to each other. The beanbags are given to the first child in line, who then tosses them one by one with a little time between tosses to the next child, who then tosses them to the third child, and so on. When the last child has all the balls, he runs after the others and takes the first position.

Capture the Flag is another outdoor game for a large number of children. The children are divided into two teams and each is assigned half of the playing area and a flag. Each team selects and displays a base area where they place their flags and a prison area where they keep their enemies. Each team tries to capture the opponent’s flag and if one ventures into the opponent’s area and is tagged by the opponent, he remains prisoner until tagged by a member of his team. The team that captures the other’s flag wins.

These games require a lot of concentration and teamwork. They are mostly a good way to get kids to interact with each other and have fun. Both are suitable for boys and girls ages 8 and up.
