Here is what the prosecution offers to Damien Marcq following his exclusion from Anderlecht

The Zulte Waregem player risks missing the end of the classic phase.

LThe Belgian Football Union prosecutor’s office on Monday proposed three suspension matches (two staff and one suspended for one year) and a 2,500 euro fine (including 500 suspended) to Damien Marcq (Zulte Waregem), excluded on Sunday in Anderlecht on the 31st day of the championship.

Damien Marcq was excluded for a sole on Majeed Ashimeru, in the 26th minute of Anderlecht – Zulte Waregem. The referee had first given a yellow card to the French, before taking out the red bristol after intervention of the VAR. Essevee then led 0-1 on the lawn of Lotto Park, but ended up losing 4-1 to RSCA.

If Zulte Waregem accepts the proposal, Marcq will miss the matches in Eupen (05/04) and Mechelen (10/04). Otherwise, the case will be dealt with by the disciplinary committee.
