Vitamins for hair and nails: a makeover from within!

Vitamins for hair and nails: a makeover from within!

If you’re looking to achieve a glow that only healthy hair, nails, and skin can provide, then antioxidants, healthy oils, and essential fatty acids are your new best friends! Plus, hair and nail vitamins like vitamins A, C, B, and E can give you a makeover from the inside out, so it’s a good idea to be pretty “friendly” to those, too!

And while we’re in the process of making some new friends, why not get acquainted with some great hair and nail minerals too? Calcium, biotin, and zinc are some of the ones you’ll want to use for glowing skin, strong, silky hair, and amazing nails.

When it comes to your diet, be sure to include plenty of fresh vegetables and cold-water fish like salmon and tuna. Eggs are great too, as are red grapes. The more avocado you can eat, the better. Contrary to common misconceptions, they will NOT make you fat!

In fact, the type of natural fat found in avocados not only works wonders for the appearance of your skin, hair, and nails, but also trains your body to use fat for fuel. This means that your body will begin to use stored body fat for energy, causing you to LOSE weight! Avocados are some of nature’s little miracle workers. Eat lots of them!

Hair and nail vitamins can also be found in abundance in biotin-rich foods like brown rice, brewer’s yeast, and barley.

Raw seeds and nuts, like almonds and cashews, contain lots of natural calcium, as well as additional healthy fats. These are delicious with fresh fruit. I encourage you to eat them for great hair and nails, along with supreme overall health.

If you choose to take hair and nail supplements, which is highly recommended (how many of us are going to eat EXACTLY as we should?), be sure to consider the following:

  • Only all-natural supplements will do! Synthetic vitamins just don’t work. Hair and nail vitamins derived from whole food sources will transform you. Synthetics will only end up as “expensive urine”.
  • Antioxidants, such as green tea and Acai berry should accompany any hair and nail vitamins you decide to take, as they will scavenge free radicals that could hamper your results, paving the way for a true glow.
  • A lot of hydration is required for its success. 4 to 6 liters of purified water every day will keep your cells plump and healthy, your skin glowing, and your hair and nails strong and beautiful.

Do these things, and a complete and wonderful transformation is sure!
